Students are expected to attend all courses for which they are registered. Students who fail to attend a course(s) prior to the published required attendance date will be deleted from their course(s), which may result in an adjusted financial aid offer and possible financial implications.
In accordance with federal regulations, students may authorize the deduction of student charges from financial aid credit balance refunds. Typically, funds are authorized for disbursement each week with the exception of the start of a term and to maintain compliance with federal regulations regarding federal funds (i.e., Federal Direct Student Loans). Student financial aid refund checks/direct deposits are calculated and disbursed by the College Business Office. Start of term authorization for disbursement dates will be posted on the College website. Disbursements will be issued by direct deposit to the bank account setup in the student’s MyCACC account. If bank account information has not been setup in MyCACC, a paper check will be mailed to the student mailing address on file. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure contact and mailing information in MyCACC is accurate at least one full week prior to the scheduled date for mailing refund checks.
